Pandemic Response Resources

During this time of unprecedented uncertainty and economic turmoil resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, Goal 17 Partners stands more than ever for new levels of collaboration and innovation to harness the full potential of the private sector to drive solutions for sustainability, equality and accessibility.

Two immediate opportunities highlighted by our partners at the Wellcome Trust, Gates Foundation and UN Office for Partnerships are below:

Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations and COVID-19 Therapeutics Accelerator

Solidarity Response Fund for WHO in partnership with UNF and Swiss Philanthropy

As we all rally to do whatever possible to respond to the current crisis and adapt to the new ways of working and living it has resulted in, we look forward to continuing to shine the light on the good work of all of you. An initial snapshot of how the companies in our network are responding is presented here, along with some excellent resources some of our partners have compiled.

We will also explore new ways to continue our work together around our longer-term goals of sustainability, equality and accessibility—which we know are the foundation to offset the impact of future shocks and crisis.

Please feel free to share any feedback, suggestions or opportunities on how we can do so. Thank you for everything you are doing already and for being part of the Goal 17 Partners community at a time when Sustainable Development Goal 17 is more important than ever.
